The purpose of the position is to develop the strategy of accessories category and be responsible for the implementation of local marketing plan in line with these objectives. This manager will need to take full responsibility on leather goods category and all other accessories categories (eyewear, fragrance & objects). In addition, this Manager will lead and coach Accessories Executive in the delivery of business and people development objectives. Reporting to: Marketing Associate Director Headcount supervised: 1 Accessories Executive Location: Shanghai External contacts : Strong communication and negotiation skills to facilitate agreements with external parties including vendors, partners and third-party service providers Internal contacts: Strong functional line of reporting with Marketing Associate Director. Liaise with Communication, Merchandising, CRM, PR, Retail, Logistics, VM and Learning & Development teams to implement strategic action plans

Key Responsibilities

1 – BU & Strategic plan Lead definition of Accessories BU and Strategic Plan, including analysis of business situation, identification of key opportunities for growth and detailing localized marketing plan. Lead cross functions in implementation of Strategic Plan. 2 – Forecast ( in-range & novelties ) Lead team in the preparation and review of sales estimates for existing and new product launches Work with Merchandising Team and HQ in Monthly Collaboration to be in line with BU & strategic plan 3 – Product Launches Define and lead the local strategy, establish and implement solid, integrated launch plan 4 – Competitor and Customer Understanding Lead efforts on customer, competitive and market place intelligence compilation including sourcing research agency partners, translation of market insight into action plans and cascading across departments 5 – People and Organization Development Manage team capability and build talent in Marketing Fundamentals and Business Analysis skill set. Implement systems and procedures for continuous improvement on current business processes including communication flow with cross-function departments 6 – Monthly Sales Review Lead monthly sales review and develop short term and long term action plan Implement proposed action plan

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field; post graduate / MBA is preferred -In-depth analytical thinking and business analysis -Minimum 6 years of professional experience working for a reputable multinational company (hold the marketing position of assistant brand / product manager for at least 2 years in 1 company with team management experience) -Previous role must demonstrate strength with regards to detailed quantitative analysis, interpretation of data and report generation -Must demonstrate ability to work across functions with strong people skills
