Primary Responsibility

  • Develop and drive a Corporate campaign to raise Volvo Cars brand value, and the continued strategic positioning of Volvo Cars as a most progressive and desired  Premium Brand in China
  • Establish close relationships with key regional media/analysts, KOLs to provide strong, consistent Corporate Message across China on an ongoing basis
  • Develop the good content for external communication through the comprehensive content planning, media topic digging out, supervising the content develop and managing the content quality.


Specific Requirement

  • Support on the development of corporate external communication plan.
  • Coordinate the country corporate external agenda through communication activities based on Corporate and Product Marketing’s priorities and values.
  • Manage the content quality for external communication material, especially through traditional channels
  • Provide corporate external communication support to executive management and relevant internal stakeholders
  • Support on all external corporate communication editorial calendar with purpose to facilitate news and editorial/press release leads gathering.
  • Support on the issues/crisis management


Special Features, Education and Experience

  • The job requires a senior professional, graduate or equivalent with in depth and up-to-date knowledge of corporate communications in a global, publically listed company.
  • 8- 10 years communications management experience, including time spent in a multinational business environment, working with multi-cultural teams.
  • Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with and managing agencies and consultants, and managing budget
  • The job requires a routine need for conceptual and creative thinking in anticipating, identifying and solving positioning and communications problems.
  • Multi-task, flexible, adaptive and organized. Constant reprioritization is required as well as fast
  • Team worker and quick learner
  • The jobholder will need to have fluent Chinese language (spoken and written) capability and have well developed English language skills.
  • National and regional travel is expected
